VENT: how do i get the joy of drumming back?

When I started playing drums, it was very exciting to discover new rhythms and my teacher who taught me Frank Sinatra, however, the institution he worked at (a church) closed so I had to go to my school's course.However, everyone there was <10y so I barely got the teacher's attention (who wasn't even specialized in drums) and I could only play at the school's cultural festival which was only once a year so when the course ended, I continued taking an online course and what was a hobby turned into a stressful routine because "why am I going to train all this just to play once a year at school with people who get all confused on stage?". Im really considering entering an band but i think im too young for the local bands and idk what 2 do anymore.
