Jejune

Active 1996-2000

Jejune was a group originally formed at Berklee College of Music consisting of members Arabella Harrison, Joe Guevara, Chris Vanacore, and later Mark Murino. They belong to the 90's emo scene and have slight elements of dream pop, midwest emo, and punk scattered throughout their discography, but their core sound includes wailing female + male vocals along with dynamics of tension and release. Unfortunately much of their discography isn't on streaming services, but it still makes the rounds through youtube and various blogs (and on the Emo Diaries). Similar bands to Jejune would be Endive, Everyone Asked About You, and The Lazarus Plot. They're an awesome, awesome band that I take a lot of influence from. :)
