I've been watching some of these lately, they are not always great quality and they are usually short from what i can tell. However, i recently watched Tales of Symphonia: The Animation, and found it to be really good actually. I'm a huge fan of that game also. Right now I'm watching Dragon Quest: Adventure of Dai, and it's pretty cute so far, but I've never played the game.
Anyways, what are your thoughts on this genre and which ones have you liked and why?

I can think of a couple on top of my head but mostly are visual novel. Even then, they feel like lackluster or inferior to the game.
Danganropa, Ace Attorney...
Persona 5: The Animation totally blows, and it's not finished. Persona 4: The Animation however, is a pretty good summary of the game.
Steins;Gate is a pretty stellar anime, and their Anime OP version rocks
