ok here's mine: one time at a sleepaway camp i was w everyone in my bunk, all on the last night of the camp, and they decided we should all go around and say our camp crush. so here's me, aroacespec, and i didnt have a crush on anyone bc i never have, BUT i was in a qpr with this other kid, and everyone in the bunk had seen that we were like something. so i was obliged to say them, but then i had to explain what a qpr was, and that i was aroace, and some ppl had never heard of either of those b4 and it was so strange- like,, i just felt so weird abt my identity. still do ig

Having to explore my identity can be so frustrating!! at this point I don't even try anymore I just tell people I'm not looking to be in a relationship right now. I really wish not having crushes, no matter if you're aro/ace or not, was normalized cause sometimes people just don't have a crush on anyone at the moment.
