WARNING: DEAD POET SOCIETY SPOILERS!!!
I went to see it as play yesterday with my best friend :33
It was soo goodd!! AAAA All the actors played so well, and Keating was AWESOME, like whole play was all around him and less about the boys (neil, todd, charlie..). It was in french but they adapted the dialogues sooo well!! Kinda sad they didn't put the "I was good, I was really good" line
.. But it wouldn't sound that good in french lmaoo. They made it funnier than the movie too, it was interesting cause it depicts well, that those kids were just young and wanted to have fun and be themselves.
I LOVE YOU MICKS YOU'RE SO SWEET AND FUNNY!!
THE SCENE. THE SCENE. Just before Neil kills himself, there's a light that goes towards him, he tries to catch it, he holds it so close to his heart as it's the one thing that is keepin him alive
They messed up Todd's role though.. I was really excited thinking it was his moment of glory.. but no :(( Even his scene in the snow.. They put him as an awkward little rich boy... All the poetry and idk thing he had, kinda disappeared...
I think I needed to watch that play, the power and message that it holds, is so strong and important for our society. Keep dreaming, keep living, do not let go of that light. Write, read, sing, go out!! Carpe Diem, don't be afraid, you belong somewhere, find your way, find your place!! <3
(If anyone's an House MD fan, I kept seeing Wilson instead of Neil, it hurts so bad. I love Wilson so much, my little pookie, he deserves the best and he was so unlucky... The parallels are KILLING ME.)
