fuck fast fashion

No because like i hate how normalized it is too. "Temu haul" like thats the labor of little kids. It's so cheap and produced to fast and quick to be destroyed too and like if you go to the mall all of the clothes there are fast fashion anyways so i only shop at second hand stores :,(

Shop secondhand! I didn't start getting compliments until i started working at goodwill and my whole closet became filled

Social media is also not making it easier, with people showing their huge Shein/Temu hauls of 15+ items which is gaslighting others into thinking this is normal behavior. 

Fast fashion brands are becoming worse and worse in terms of quality, some people just wear things for less than a season and it either just breaks or goes to the back of the wardrobe when it's not "trendy" anymore. 

Secondhand is definitely the most reliable alternative at the moment, getting into fiber arts to make/alter your own clothes is so satisfying and it really makes you think about how much effort goes into making any piece of clothing! :] 

I think the popularity of fast fashion reflects the sad reality that people are being led by cheap prices and the Solitaired trend. But many people don't know, or know but have no other choice because of limited finances. That is, the fault lies not mostly with consumers, but with the system.
