Any Persona fans?

       Have you tried the original P5 as well? you don't have to in order to enjoy Royal, but I am curious if this is your starting point in the persona universe since it IS a damn good game. I haven't played Strikers but if you like the characters from P5 there's not much doubt you'll find that game engaging as well, even though the game play is very different.

       Who is your favorite character so far? How far into the game are you? What palace has been your favorite aesthetic wise?

Royal is my starting point in the overall Persona serie,and I am really enjoying the experience so far.And the UI is so cool like????Best game I ever played so far in term of design.I even added the OSTs to my study playlist lol

I am beginning the second palace,I am quite early in the game.But I think Ryuji is definitively my fav for now.I really like his trio with Ann and Ren.

You should really try persona 2, it's very different from 5 in its own right but it's amazing. 

I love the Persona series! Tbh I recommend going in backwards order with the series. I started with 5, then went to 4 Golden, then 3 FES, then 2: Sin and Punishment/Innocent Sin, and lastly the first game. The 4G and 3FES are on Steam, Switch, and a few other consoles!

i LOVE p5r, even tho ive played every mainline game im still biased towards it cause i think its bascially perfect ;) also strikers is a very different game fundamentally, its a musou which means theres no turn-based combat but it still translates p5s aesthetic and incredible writing well

if u want to play any of the other games, try playing persona 4 golden first cause its pretty approachable especially if u have experience w/ the franchise. id then recommend playing persona 3 but there are different versions of it, reload is good if u preferred how 5 played but if u can put up w/ 2000s jank FES is the better choice. dont play portable unless u really like p3, cause aside from the female MC route (which tbf is pretty good) and vision quest its just a downgraded version of FES w/ no cutscenes and a visual novel focus that turns exploring p3s map into just moving a cursor on a flat image. if u want to skip one thats fine cause their plots arent connected in any way but try playing at least one out of p3/p4

persona 1 and 2 are VERY different games, and take a lot of time to get used to ￣へ￣ ur also gonna have to play 1 first cause multiple plot points from 2 carry on the narrative of 1, and 2 is split into innocent sin/eternal punishment so ur gonna have to play IS to understand whats going on in EP. theyre still worth playing (especially 2) but not necessary to get the best out of the franchise

also please dont watch the p5 anime. im talking from experience ◐﹏◑

hell yeah!! i also started with p5r! i hope you enjoy all the other games too, they're all v fun :3 i also second the person who recommended you play the series in backwards order ^^
