best bass 4 new player

hii!! ive been wanting to get into playing bass and i am wondering which ones are affordable/best for beginners. i have limited musical experience aside from piano. i know music theory is the same across the board but i would pretty much be learning from scratch for everything except reading music.

anyone who plays bass who has researched it, i would appreciate any recommendations :3. i currently am saving up for one, and my friend has a squier-affinity series precision? thats the pic they sent me but im not sure what it is lmao.

also if anyone has any tips or youtube videos that cater to beginners?!! i really want to get into writing mysic and putting my poems into lyrics or to a rhythm. anny and all help is appreciated. also if youre in a band, play an instrument, or are just into grunge, rock, indie, or metal music i would love to connect and be friends,,;;
