Ok, I get that spacehey is:

  • Inspired by and invoking nostalgia of it's sorely missed predecessor
  • Encouraging users to code their own layouts
...but would it really hurt anything to have a dark mode?  I mean, I'm looking at a screen, not a piece of paper!  Being forced to look at blinding white can make it a pain to try and use this site.

+1 for that. Can't control custom layouts, but for everything else it should be possible. Not always easy. I recently started adding dark mode to my own websites, and some stylesheets rely on being light. But often it can be done just fine. On my profile here for example. Be right back.
