QOTD #22: What's a superstition you believe in?

not entirely, but i've kind of made a habit of the knocking on wood one. i don't really think i believe something bad will happen if i don't, but it's just to be sure lmao.

Knocking on wood, opening umbrellas inside like slightly, and walking under a ladder but I think that's just in fear it'll fall on me

just the theatre kid ones like saying break a leg instead of good luck (sometimes i even do it out of context) and not mentioning the name of the scottish play backstage

erm idk, I believe if u talk bad abt hobgoblins from English folklore they mess up ur room and steal ur things, My birthdays bad luck for health, could be my health, my friends health, my pets health, or weather, the first ever recorded sandstorm in my town was on my birthday... sheep die, ppl die.. once on my birthday every friend I had got simultaneously sick- LIKE I AM LIT CURSED and new years is bad luck too except in a different way, like whoever you spend new years with wont be in your life in the next year, but only rlly 4 me :C
