honestly the best thing i can recommend is

a. tighter clothes

and

b. layering

my fav basic scene outfit consists of

tank top

off the shoulder top

shorts (typically black or jorts)

BELTS

arm warmers

tights

leg warmers

or you can even just go with something like skinny jeans and a statement hoodie. honestly though, anything you wear looks scene if you have the right hair. but really, at like most basic, you can just wear tight jeans and a tight t shirt with some accessories. also, don’t be afraid to diy! make your own chokers out of old pants, make some kandi, alter your shirts, really just have fun with it :)

if u want more easily achievable scene/emo fashion i'd rec just looking for more simple scene fits online, if when u search for that all that shows up is scenecore and or modern scene shit search for never shout never inspired outfits, as they were always a lot more simple with their outfits. if you want think or something using refs is always helpful. scene clothes are typically quite easy to find bcuz with a lot of scene fashion heres quite a lot of shirts w graphics, shirts w weird phrases, etc. and character shirts, hats, n sweaters. which u can find in stores like Walmart, target, (if ur American, though in Canada we do not have that.) superstore if ur Canadian, or any other stores like that in whichever country u live in. ive heard 5 below is gud too but I'm Canadian so idk 4 sure. look in the kids section, an even party sections. ofc sizing will be limited though. also second hand which u can typically find scene stuff in thrift stores, on ebay, depop, or other sites. and kids clothing is typically a bit cheaper than adults too. a lot of scene fashion is a bit tight fitting. DIY is also pretty gud 2!! if u can afford it, spencers n hot topic r good too, n spirit halloween(if u live in north america, sadly they still haven't expanded to other continents, which I don't get why, it'd get them more money) n other halloween stores have a lot of accessories that can b used too!!
