wondering what small habits (or things, maybe) have really made positive changes to your routine? i've seen the typical one of making the bed in the morning, which i fully understand. but what else is there?

i used to have such a disgusting ass room, a mess everywhere. my therapist told me that i should try to pick up one small thing a day, and to remember to do this she told me i should put something anyway anytime i used the bathroom. when i started doing this it actually helped make my room a bit less messy, and eventually my room became totally clean! i feel like my mind has never felt more clearer than before with such a clean room now :-)

I made small flowcharts, first with cleanliness stuff, then with self organizing tasks, then a third with self improvement goals. "Flowchart" is sort of a misnomer because It functions essentially as a checklist, but i just drew it in a branching form

having breakfast. I used to be a person who hated eating anything before noon, but I got prescribed meds that I was too scared to take without eating st before and holy shit, my life changed. I started making breakfast for myself, that turned into generally cooking more, that made me start eating actual meals two or three times a day, THAT made me save money, feel way happier, healthier and more satisfied and now I have a new hobby in cooking, so I also feel more fulfilled... grateful. glad. :)
