Do you guys find cloth masks or surgical masks to be more effective. I asked a nurse and she said it depends bc cloth masks can have a better seal but surgical masks have better filters. The flu, COVID, RSV and pneumonia is going around where I'm at and I really can't afford to catch anything rn.

N95, KN95, KF94, and FFP2 respirators are all widely available and have regulatory standards for filtration and fit. Cloth and surgical masks do not create a seal around your face, so do not perform as well.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah my mother has some n-95 masks that are molded to her face and SHOULD fit me with a better seal, but I have breathing problems so I have a hard time with them.
