Nerdy teenage burnouts, wanna be friends?

I'm Gabby, I love science fiction and science in general. I'd say that I am a 'nerd' since I had no one to talk to in my early childhood and was made to do much Kumon and reading. Don't get me wrong, I love it. And now, in my first year in highschool, I can't quite capture the passion I used to exude when I was younger. 'burnout' is what a certain counselor said it was? Anyways, I'd love to make friends with people my age. I'm not quite proficient when it comes to writing in English because I've never had that much practice. I'm quite good in Mathematics and Science though, so if ever you need help pertaining to these subjects—first years of course— I could help! I don't know if I would come off as condescending (or so I've been told all the time because of the way I write ???) but I would love to be friends...
