Fashion Tips for Trans Women?

I finally realized that I super don't like how I dress and it has been affecting me extremely bad. When I have the funds, I'm wanting to restart my entire wardrobe anew and give myself clothing and possible makeup/cosmetics that I both enjoy and fits me well. Is there any help or info that helped you achieve the look you wanted, or anything big or small that you wish you knew when first starting out? I don't have my exact measurements on hand, but I know both a men and women's medium fits me well enough. I can get them at another time if needed!

Thank you very much!

Try to create a mood board or wishlist before buying an entirely new closet! I also recommend buying basic items that can be used for any style eg. solid-colored items/jeans/leggings first, rather than statement pieces. When I was younger I really wanted to be a goth girl and ended up impulse-buying lolita dresses and tights that sadly don't fit me anymore (and don't match my style now). What I think would have been a better approach for past me wouldve been to buy black turtle necks, long skirts etc. and see if I liked wearing it. If I did then I would take the step into more expensive statement pieces and accessories, and if I didn't I could still use those items in other non-goth outfits.

But that's just my experience though,,,,

I would also recommend avoiding sites like temu, aliexpress, and amazon. You can easily find good quality basic and statement pieces second-hand and on sites like Vinted for really cheap. Build your dream closet slowly and don't rush it!! trust me
