Forum: Books and Stories

I'm a big fan of the dystopian genre as well as horror but I find dystopian stories to be more scary sometimes. I need something to read as of late so I'm hoping to find some recs for either genre. Here's some I read and liked to give a general vibe and idea of what I'm looking for:

-1984

-Fahrenheit 415

-Hunger Games

-Tender is the Flesh

-I have no mouth and I must scream

Anything with big government conspiracies is good and they can lean more sci-fi as well! With horror I'm pretty open to anything but I'll list some faves here like the dystopian ones:

-House of Leaves

-Room

-really any edgar allan poe

-The Cellar

Many thanks in advance!

some dystopian ones would b

" the maze runner " its one of my all time fav !! ( they also have 3 movies for it )

" animal farm " which rlly digs into power leading to-government-corruptancy ( pretty sure they have a cartoon adaption to this as well ! )

---------------

n if u meant horror by psychological horror, i would recommend

" crime and punishment " by fyodor dostoevsky ! im currently reading it n i would say its a pretty good classic psychological horror book that u should definitely give it a try !
