We understand your stress of what's to come, so please take my dismay. Unfortunately not a dime, but my time.
In the quiet aftermath of rain
when waters rise, and hearts feel pain
know that you're not alone today
in every tear, we feel your way.
The earth may tremble, rivers roar,
yet hope remains, it's here, and more.
Through the darkest hours, we'll stand with you,
and help rebuild what's torn in two.
For every home lost, every dream,
we'll hold you close, like a steady beam.
Though waters may have swept away your strength will rise,
come brighter days.
No flood can drown a spirit true,
even if it has beaten you blue,
together, we will see this through.
Hand in hand, we'll find the dawn after the night.
