Current job: Grocery store. Next job: ???

I gotta get out of retail.  I get psychic damage every day, am part of a sinking ship, nobody hears me about problems until they get huge then get mad at me, for not somehow forcing them to listen. I cannot make anyone listen.  it is impossible and if it would be possible, it would violate both Free Will and The Rule.

I understand my next words may be confusing, for some. But probably not surprising. I want to work in places I've called home.  And by that I mean "dive bars that have stages in them that frequently host local metal" (once typed out, this is hilarious in ways I can't even fathom).

I want to know what I should learn through school or other programs to make me someone they would fight to hire and keep.  If that is even a thing in that kind of job, but I almost don't care. I want to be with my people...

On the plus side, they'd get someone who's /very/ security minded and protective of their people, a dedicated and high work-ethic "worker", and someone who has a great and broken sense of humor as long as it doesn't devolve into bullying or any -isms. the very same is defiant of The Rule, which I have sworn to uphold.  I can also help loadin/loadout since I am Very Strong for my size due to my current employment, and I'm very efficient.

On the downside I am half blind with only one eye sighted, but that does not stop me. I may also become introverted when I'm tired enough. On show nights this won't be a problem since I will be charged way up with the music, but I may need to bring my own music on the other nights.

As long as I am fed I can Energizer Bunny my way through just about any work condition possible within reason of course, I'm getting the hell out if there's a fire for example.

So yeah if there's anyone out here with this experience, Hit Me Up and we'll talk, I'm looking forward to it!

I'm not sure if dive bars are really clambering for people with specific trained experience aside from like having bartending or food service experience, so I'd reckon you could start trying to get a position in one of those places pretty soon. I wish you the best of luck getting the hell out of retail!
