shadowcast actors

have you performed in a rocky horror shadowcast? let's talk about it!!!

i have participated in the last two shadowcast performances that my college's rocky horror club organized. 

for my first show i played Eddie. he's my favorite character in the whole show. i feel like i relate to this character the most, and i loved embodying the spirit of rock and roll. he's everything i wish i could be, and for that night i didn't have to dream it, i could be it. playing him made me feel more confident about myself, and i felt like i was able to celebrate who i was through this character.

for my second show, i played Frank n Furter. playing Frank n Furter helped me get out of my comfort zone. i have been very self conscious about my body for most of my life, and that night over 100 people saw me wearing the most revealing clothes i have ever worn in my life. i feel like rocky horror helped me to connect with myself more, and playing Frank n Furter brought out a part of me that i may not have explored otherwise. it gave me a sense of confidence that i needed and was lacking for a long time.
