Good alternative music venues in Indiana?

I know the main ones in my area, but I'm willin to take a bit of a drive if I can see some good bands. I especially wanna know if there's any makin music that sounds pretty authentically third wave. I know this is a bit of a longshot, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were a lotta people from the midwest on here. Anyway, most of the bands in the scene around me make hardcore, which I love very much, but I wanna see more bands with an older emo sound!!
