Some conspiracy theorists are suggesting the fires were set to cover up abuse allegations against him, especially since his mansion in Holmby Hills wasnโt affected.
Theories are flying fastโfrom claims that the fires were intentionally started to clear land for a high-speed rail project, to bizarre talk of "direct energy weapons" causing the destruction. Even actor Mel Gibson is joining the conversation, questioning if the timing of the fires is too perfect to be a coincidence.
