My Review of What Was Meant To Be by Q.B. Tyler

Okay, so I love a spicy book, and this one did not disappoint! It’s about a girl who just turned 18 and has had a major crush on her (non-related) godfather for years. One night, she gets drunk and finally makes a move. At first, he’s like, “Nope,” but since he’s also tipsy, he gives in and lets her kiss him.

I know, I know—it sounds wild (and maybe a little messy), but trust me, it’s so good. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I was lowkey nervous with every page because things just kept escalating!

The only thing that bugged me was a few comments in the story that gave me the ick. But aside from that, I was hooked. I’ll definitely read it again. If you’re into spicy reads with a ton of tension, I recommend giving this one a try!
