Trying to get into cyber security

I've always been interested in comp sci as a whole and the idea of cyber security with, what I've heard, flexible hours that work for u, really good pay and honestly I'm jus really interested on the subject in general. idk where to really start, I'm in college currently on break and hopefully i can do a comp sci or cyber security course so i can do it but i haven't rly done much wit comp sci inna while so I'm kinda lost now. this is more of a "cry for help" and to jus find people maybe in the same boat as me.
