Live news?

Just joined the group so redirect me if this has been asked (I looked briefly and didn’t see it) but I’d like to get my news from something other than social media and I’d like something to watch in the morning. I’d prefer something with chill segments and a couple breaks with super important recent news, and something that gives a crap about lgbtq and people of color etc. I’ve looked on YouTube and the shit on streaming channels needs an upgraded subscription or whatever, I’ve tried a paperclip to get stuff on my crt and it didn’t work. I’d like something I can watch on my iPad or phone but I have so many specifications that something prob won’t entirely fit sorry for the ramble I’m just sick of relying on an algorithm for everything

Try tildes.net, it's one of the few news aggregators I can stand.

I always just watch the nightly news, specifically the NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. They upload every episode that night after airing on YouTube, so if you want to watch that in the morning I recommended.

In my opinion, it's unbiased. Because it's only 30 minutes (22 or so without commercials), there's no time for personal commentary or "debates" (bring some random person with the opposite ideology who doesn't know what they're talking about, and than someone with that stations preferred ideology to make that person look dumb by spouting off stuff rapid fire, with no regard if it's factually correct or not), there's only time to report what's going on, give an overview of the situation, and move on to the next topic. No BS, just the news.

I always laugh when people say their aren't any unbiased news outlets anymore and we need somebody to just report the news, when its right there in front of us.
