To Older BL Fans and People In General

I am 18F, and recently turned 18. Since doing so, I have gotten rid of many crushes I have had and material of characters that are teenagers. I have also stopped engaging with media about teenagers/high schoolers, or where an actor/celebrity or character from an anime/manwha  might/is underaged. This is because I'm an adult now, and it's inappropriate for me to continue liking/being attracted to minors and engage in 18+ media of them or sexual thoughts.

Now whenever I watch an anime, read a manwha, see a drama, I always look up their ages and try to make sure they're 18 years old. But then this got me thinking about the future and other stuff. I've already cut out a lot of stuff just involving teenagers, and it's also already hard checking ages for everyone/every character and any picture or video I see of someone where I feel attracted, but as you age it seems like that would be a lot worse. I guess, I'm just wondering how older BL fans feel about this or deal with it? or your thoughts?

Like, if you're 26, it's considered improper and creepy to date or be attracted to/think sexually about 18-20 year olds. So does that mean when I turn 24+, I can't enjoy adult media of characters that age in manwha/anime and be attracted to them? Or actors that age? Or I want to watch something and it's mature, but one of the main actors is too young for an appropriate age range. Semantic Error (the kdrama) one actor is like 21 while the other is almost 30. I am very attracted to both of them, and have kind of thought sexual things about the characters in the show and the actors separately. But at some point I'll probably be too old to enjoy college centered media in a sexual way, or like Sangwoo's actor. Same even for the manwha. Would it be wrong for me to enjoy mature media of them and be attracted to them? 

Especially because a lot of times in fictional media (2d characters) an age isn't even given, or at least not right away. You have to really look for it and find context clues. It's already been hard deciphering if somebody is a minor or something, I can't imagine being 30 and trying to figure out if this character is like 23 and then that means I gotta bail. And in cases of age gap relationships, fictional or in a drama, is it wrong to enjoy that too? Enjoy sexual things of them? Especially if one is outside your age range? I love certain BL novels that have huge age gaps, and I really like Junjou Romantica. It would just feel sad to turn like 22 or something and say "well, I'm too old for the younger character now...."

Or, even if the actors are much older, is it weird to enjoy or be attracted to them in a show/drama where they play a minor? I love Color Rush and both the actors are 20 at the time of filming kdrama, but they play underaged high schoolers. I am of course attracted to their looks, but I also assume I'm attracted to the character as well because I feel attraction towards their personalities. Is that creepy/pedophilic and innapropiate? Even though they're adults? 

 It just seems like it would be sad and exhausting to filter out all this each time I age

I know not all BL fans like men or feel sexual attraction. And I know not all BL fans watch and read with sexual/romantic attraction in mind. I, however, usually only really watch/read a BL if I find the characters/actors attractive and feel some attraction to them. It's also the case for quite a few forms of media/entertainment I engage with, which is probably quite shallow but oh well....I don't know, I'm just confused on how to navigate this as I age or if it will just come to me as the years pass by. I have huge crushes on 18-year-olds now, irl celebrities and in fiction, and also enjoy sexual/mature media of them or think about them that way. I guess in real life they will age with me, but videos or pictures and dramas of them won't. 

Idk, I just wonder how much older fans go about this with real pieces of media and then purely fictional ones (animated and written characters)
