Why Do You Love Blame!

I want more people to find this group so bad.
This question is sort of redundant but at least it can get some conversation started.

I think everyone would say the architecture design/setting/scope of this manga is the most beloved. I personally love how Nihei designs his characters. Silicon Life are so perfectly horrific with the way they look and their goal to wipe out humanity. I also love the constant of still expression Nihei puts on Killy. I can recall maybe twice that Killy looks pissed. All other times his features look monotone or unmoved by what's going on around him.

the architecture and the vastness of the city is what mostly captivates me. especially near the end, when killy climbs that spiral staircase and comes out on top only to be greeted by the biggest fucking place ever. it's so massive that the shadows stretch so far and it looks like he's outside. that part just leaves me in awe every time. it's frightening, really. being so used to cramped corridors, tight spaces, and the color grey especially. the blackness in these panels swallows everything. that whole section comes to mind every time i think of blame!.

and yeah, killy's facial expressions barely change lol. he smiles a handful of times surprisingly. no more than you can count on one hand. he's one of my favorite protagonists. and the graviton beam emitter is the coolest fucking weapon ever!! nihei does a great job displaying how destructive that thing is.

blame! fucking rocks. thx for joining lul
