corner image code not working for me?

hey hey i've been trying to add a little image in the corner of my profile by trying a bunch of codes i found on layouts and blog posts here but none of them seem to do anything. the img just isnt there.

this is the code i had been using:

is there something wrong with it? do i need to paste it in a certain section of the code? is the code wrong altogether? im not very experienced with coding, please help :(
