I’d say reaper. It’s kinda annoying and difficult at first but it’s free and once you get used to it it is EXTREMELY nice. There’s also a lot of great tutorials on yt.

FL studio, hands down. Just a couple of youtube videos and you're ready to go.

HI!

Honestly, I would say it depends on what kind of genre you want to make -

1. EDM - it's better to use Ableton. I worked in FL Studio for about 5 years and recently switched to Ableton and it feels much easier and simpler to make unique songs here (I do ambient dnb btw).

2. Classic genres like POP or Country idk - basically you can go with FL Studio or Reaper since they both good for such things and really easy to learn fast and make something chill for background or something like POP music as well (since it's repetitive (kinda, for me) FL Studio uses "playlists" for your melodies and drums and everything so you can just copy paste them and that's all).

Anything else is just a preference, but Reaper, Ableton and FL Studio are leaders.

Hope you find a solution to your question and succeed in music :3

i went from bandlab to fl, i learned fl on my own by experimenting and it was easy to get the hang of and the trial version is free you just cant re access your projects after you exit.
