my mom doesn't care for it at all (isn't really into animated stuff period) but my dad casually enjoys it and got into watching before i did lol. he'll occasionally give me recs after he watches a good one :3 (mostly fantasy and shounen thought since that's what he likes)

The only animated thing my dad has ever been into was Looney Tunes back when he was a kid. I doubt I could get him into anything anime related honestly.
