the reason industrial goth/heavy metal alt styles didnt take off like they were supposed to

pretty sure that the reason industrial goth/cybergoth rave toxic ooze type core kinda got halted at the tail end of the satanic panic, i note this as being right after columbine- they demonized the boys enjoyment of the scene as being an indicator of maybe violence or satanism,, just puking my thoughts, too tired to actually make it worth a shit of a post, good night
