"You need to be a friend of this person in order to be able to write a comment." Is a all too common read when I browse profiles. I literally had to disable this feature bc the feature itself is unfriendly. I want to bring some possible awareness to this feature and its auto approval function. I'm not saying you need to disable this feature but give people a chance to engage with you. This is a way better outcome. Being restricted from friend only comments is unfun and intimidating.

Definitely agree! I have ran into so many cool profiles and wanted to compliment the person who made them, only to be met with the same message about having to add the person before I can. I think randomly sending friend requests is much more intimidating for me than leaving a simple: Hey, cool profile, super aesthetic!

There's no random greet appeal, so it kills charm. I also noticed its difficult to communicate after you friend requested them and leave you in an awkward silence.
