i would love book recommendations! especially if they aren't as recognised. I may not be able to read them all because of the library app i use and the one library card i own,,,, but nonetheless, anything would be great! thought provoking stuff would be fun too

What genres are you open too or like? I'm a avid fan of Fantasy and Si-fi so I could give u recs in those genres.

My favourite book from this year would be Flowers For Algernon. I'd highly recommend that if you're looking for a good ugly-cry.

I read A Roadside Picnic earlier this year and really enjoyed it. It's a Russian Sci-Fi novel that examines the ramifications of aliens stopping on Earth for a pit stop and leaving a bunch of their stuff behind. Really solid read. I'd also recommend Imajica by Clive Barker if you like dark fantasy. It explores identity, reality, sexual expression and mending broken bonds. I haven't really read anything like it, but it can get pretty intense
