Most stuff you'll see online will def help you but they're more like guidelines (like what ingredients to add on a spell or sth) rather than actual rules. They will help you discover what techniques you like using most and stuff. Also no need to buy expensive stuff and no need to have 100 crystals (or any). If you're doing any heavy stuff tho like curses, closed practices or in general some risky spells then do your research and become an expert first 100%
