There are good beginner templates on here if you aren't good with HTML yet. I use one by a user called Boogley: layouts.spacehey.com/layout?id=18297

Also, if you're trying to upload an image but it doesn't work, it's likely because you're trying to upload the image address from a site that doesn't support it. Try going on imgbb or catbox.moe and uploading the image there, THEN copy the address.
