Getting deeper into this grouping of subgenres. I play bass, so I was listening to Sleep and Om because Al Cisneros is just built different. My friend instroduced me to Electric Wizard and Melvins. Any other recommendations for bands or albums that you like or would consider to define these genres?

Recognize that name. Wasn't boris on a split album with Merzbow?
