Tips on gettin scene clothing when you live in a third world country?

I really dress up like any other scene kids but it can be pretty hard. Can't even find racoon hair extension nowhere unless I made it myself it seems. Emo stuff Is a bit easier, but can't say the same with scene stuff.

I like in a more conservative country in Southeast Asia, so finding flashy stuff can be a bit hard. Maybe there are some tips on where can I get it easier, or rather even, MAKE scene clothing so it's accessible for me?

You could definitely make clothes! Using basic tees and then turning them into something cooler would be awesome and you could find tutorials on TikTok or YouTube! :D

I live in SE Asia too :} super hard to find stores with what I want anywhere !! so I scour instagram for online thrift stores based in my country - usually I don't have to look too hard, they come up in ads on my algorithm occasionally since I look for clothes a lot or I find them by chance ! try using hashtags in the language of your country as well as #s like  #scene #emo.

of course, there's also the option of buying from online stores internationally but shipping fees and all that stuff :{ I prefer local clothes because of less fee, but there are a lot of well-priced international stores you can buy from online if you look hard enough !

international online stores popular for their cheap pricing, e.g. shien.... I try to avoid because i've heard a lot about their supply chains -- the news recently has been telling me that they've worked hard to trace the origins of their clothes and go child labour-free, but the scene/emo community is telling me they still haven't done anything and I just don't know what to believe anymore so for now I don't really buy from shein idk i'll look into it more
