A true explorer is one who is not afraid to become lost. 

Within themselves or out on the waters, or through the high forest greens. To discover more you must get lost to form an understanding of knowledge. Safety isn't an option for a traveller because then they are not finding the mysteries of the Earth. 

To delve beyond the soil and sea bed is to grasp on the secrets of human life and nature to mould into one.
