Goth music recs pls <333

Hiiii!

I hope i'm not bothering anyone, but i am looking for some goth music recommandations. I have recently been getting into the goth subculture and i know bands like siouxsie and the banshees, joy division, bauhaus, the cure, cocteau twins, sisters of mercy, london after midnight, christian death, skinny puppy, ministry and skeletal family. I am looking for other bands who might help me get into this subculture better, they do not have to be of a certain genre.

Have a nice day!!

HIIII !! omg i love giving music recommendations, especially for babybats transitioning from metal music (as did i !!) so thank u for posting this, the bands i started with that really catapulted me into the rest of the genre are

theatre of tragedy (more symphonic metal aligned but very good)

rosetta stone (try their song people or tomorrow for us)

nosferatu (try horror holiday)

lestat (very unique, & underrated, try realm!)

45 grave (an absolute fav of mine, deathrock, try night of the demons or highway 666)

the kentucky vampires (try bitten or saint vincent)

clan of xymox (darkwave aligned, try crucified or she)

plastique noir (try rose of flesh and blood or never look for people like us)

horror vacui (try 5000 or frustration)

& overall just engage with the community, educate yourself on the history, & be yourself ^__^ i really recommend watching documentaries, interviews, or youtube videos made of/by elder goths as well

a recent find of mine is death of lovers. they're a more recent band who's a lot like the cure/siouxsie and the banshees. takes a lot of inspo from 80s/90s goth music with a little bit of shoegaze on the side. def worth checking out!
