One thing I've noticed while being in the Creepypasta community since a very young age, OCs & self inserts are so hated ?? which is so odd to me as quite literally most of the known creepypasta's are infact OCs.

yeah, i don't get it either. most creepypastas ARE, in a sense, OCs. they were just random monsters that people came up with and wrote stories for--most of which aren't good, let's be real. there's not much of a high horse to stand on with hating creepypasta OCs, in my opinion, lol.
