SalΓ², or the 120 Days of Sodom is an amazing book.Β
Compared to the movie, it just goes through all of the 120 days and goes into much more graphic details and more gore, torture and depravity towards the end.Β
I feel that this book appeals so much to me because of Marquis de Sade's ability to weave a terrible story using such beautiful language.
