I’m trying to find an online game my dad played back in 1996-1997. Might’ve died in somewhere around 2004.
It also might be something like a java or flash game.
It bears many gameplay similarities with a modern board game called “Ransom Notes”

Rounds for the online game go like this:
- A random pool of 50~ “magnetic” tiles with
words on them are given to the players. My dad can’t remember if the
tiles are taken away for everyone else if one of the tiles are used by a
player before you can get to it. - After a prompt/theme is given, everyone tries to make a sentence only using the tiles they got.
- After that, everyone then votes on who had the best sentence.
- Repeat.
