dress more alt??

i REALLY want to dress more alt or grunge, but i'm on a budget. and ik the first solution to that is to go thrifting but my parents are STRICT. they wont let me go thrifting bc its "gross to wear smt that used to be someone elses." they also banned me from getting clothes from shein and temu. idk where to get clothing that matches my aesthetic!! please help!!
