being alt is kind of supposed to be about DIY. Find ways to maybe upcycle your old clothes, like using dye, painting on them with bleach, sewing, adding pins, distressing them, cutting them up... theres loads of ideas on tiktok and pinterest. in case thrift stores arent near you, i suggest Vinted, which is basically online thrifting. its pretty affordable and you can find some decent things there.
