2000s main character/side characters style :)

So I have a question. Do you guys think that while rewatching your fav shows from the 2000s and 2010s, there’s this style, personality shift that happens to one of the main characters, bc the next season it’s like the original character is scrapped and replaced with something completely new and otherwise deemed as bad business ventures. An example is Cat from Victorious, I was rewatching on paramount +, I realize how different she was in season 1, she was more eccentric and sure she was ditzy but she knew what was going on, and she since was alternative it made sense that she was best friends with Tori and Jade, her style was like a mix of Tori’s and Jade, but after the crossover episode with Icarly, it’s like her original style and personality was erased and replaced by this almost kiddish naive type of persona with a more 2015 coquette tea party style. So what are some other examples of this and put down below whether you agree
