Forum: Web, HTML, Tech

I don't exactly know if a discussion like this goes here, but I don't know where else it would go, so this is my best guess.

Anyways, I was talking to someone on the SpaceHey forums about an old avatar maker that was made by MySpace, but couldn't remember the name of it to save my life. Now keep in mind, I've never used MySpace, but I have an older sister who did have one, and she showed it to me, so I *knew* it existed.

After looking on the web and YouTube for a while, I finally found my lead; BuddyPoke. It was a video on how to make Knuckles and Shadow from Sonic the Hedgehog in the program. From all of the information I could find, it was a widget made in Flash by MySpace in 2008. I'm not sure when it was discontinued, but there were a whole bunch of "X character is grounded" content farm type videos, but no videos talking about what it exactly was or anything.

When looking on the web, I found a Buddypoke website that had avatars that almost looked just like the ones on the original avater maker, but it was all about NFTs (*shudders*). They kind of looked like a comination of the original avatars and the characters from Jetpack Joyride, but I don't see any affiliation with MySpace on it anywhere, so I don't know if it's legit or not. There's also a LostMedia wiki page about it, but I can't access the site because it requires a login to even view the main website page, and I don't want to create an account at the moment.

If anyone has a login for the website, or just happens to remember playing around with it in general, please share anything you know about it. I'd like to know more about it, as "old web" stuff like this really piques my interest.
