Nah I like it.  Particularly Hawaiian pizza.

pineapple on pizza is PEAK

It doesn't seem to match very well, I've never tried it to see if it matches, but I don't think it does.

personally, pineapple is and always will be my #1 go-to for pizza toppings. right alongside italian sausage or something else savory to balance the flavors!! (๑ᵔ⤙ᵔ๑)

I'd say people who radicalize to one side or the other are cringe. Pizza is generally eaten as a dough with tomato sauce and a topping which could be anything. In the region of italy where I grew up, I always got "american pizza" with wurstel and french fries. french fries are still the best, still get that one with something different every time.
