vent has officially died

r.i.p to the only social i really used consistently growing up. luckily i have connected with most of my mutuals in other places, but it still sucks having lost that place where we first met. without vent i wouldn't have met my boyfriend of 4 years and a few other friends of mine. i met some pretty awful people there too, but i think it equals out. it was also nice having a place to be actually ill and not feel judged by the people you surrounded yourself with.

feel free to share your own thoughts/feelings over the app death, memories, anything you want really related to the app. though this was a niche app, i do think many people who have used it and found a home there will remember it for a long time.
