Does rave/breakbeat hardcore count as scene?

I love emo music but im not sure what scene qualifies as because i see alot of scene kids at raves and im not sure if music like machine girl or golden boy or tokyo pill is the same niche as scene. also whats up with hardstyle and jumpstyle? they seem to be related and im not sure how? helpp im new here.
