I would start from making patches of your fav bands or some symbols like an ankh

-stock up on fishnets! you can make tops from them, wear them as they are etc.
-band patches are always fun! go to local shows to purchase merch from small bands (and support the scene) or create your own. there are a bunch of tutorials on youtube, i have to outsource my advice here haha.
-look out for cool pieces while thrift shopping with an intention of diying, sewing etc. sometimes we miss out on cool stuff or deem things too basic, but it's easy to flip them i think
-classic one, but sometimes dyeing things black or painting on some bats, spiderwebs is all there is to it
