I recommend the Kentucky Vampires, specifically their album Crimson Curse. Their sound does lean into deathrock, but I'd still consider them goth-rock. Next, I suggest Rosegarden Funeral Party. Great post-punk band with an amazing discography. Once in a While is one my favourites songs from them. Lastly, Strange Boutique. They have a great melancholic, eerie, and slightly raw sound. My favourite albums are Charm and The Loved One. I hope this helps you on your goth music journey :)

That's a great and varied playlist!!

It has a lot of the classic bands/group on there-- so I'll recommend some newer bands that you might like, because I adore them...

Firstly, Rosegarden Funeral Party is an absolute must-listen!! The instrumentals are classic and very "rock"-y, with less synth than might be standard for newer groups. Her vocals are also quite reminiscent of Siouxsie for me, powerful and clear!! They're also from Texas, I hear-- and tour frequently!

Les Fleurs du Mal are amazing-- they remind me a lot of my favorite band, Pink Turns Blue (who are INCREDIBLE LIVE!! and who you should also check out, if you haven't already! All of their albums are unique yet share a common-ish sound that itches my brain perfectly...) But Les Fleurs du Mal are from Sweden, I believe, and it makes their lyrics really interesting. One that I can remember goes,

"Clarity came like a long lost friend / A catcher in the rye, a truth you can't deny / When too close to the edge / It struck me like a sledge / If being someone is you / I'd rather be no one and true" (Idolatry: in Vain)

His voice is very reminiscent of the lead singer of PTB, who are all German! Deep and monotone, classic male goth singing.
